How does it work?
Deep Tissue Laser Therapy accelerates your body’s own natural healing process through photo-bio-stimulation. Laser therapy provides concrete benefits to the patient. Laser therapy is effective in treating chronic conditions, acute conditions and post surgical pain. Laser therapy treatments last between 5 and 10 minutes depending on the condition being treated. Laser therapy treatments must be administered directly to the skin, as laser light cannot penetrate through layers of clothing. You will feel a soothing warmth as the therapy is administered. Patients generally see results after 3 to 5 treatments. Your doctor will develop a treatment plan that is optimal for your condition.
LiteCure Laser therapy administration is a direct function of a power of the laser light and dose delivered. Administering the optimal treatment dose to patients produces consistent positive outcomes. Class IV therapy lasers provide a deeper depth of tissue penetration and ultimately provide a dose that result in positive reproducible outcomes. Higher wattage also results in faster treatment times and provides results unachievable with low wattage lasers. These lasers provide a level of versatility unrivaled by other Class I, II, and III B lasers due to their ability to treat both superficial and deep tissue conditions.

What are the benefits?
Depending on the condition being treated your therapy may be administered through either a contact or non-contact handpiece. The contact handpiece is designed to allow the practitioner to physically manipulate the tissue while administering the treatment, resulting in a laser-massage treatment. This allows for light to penetrate deeper into tissues than the non-contact handpiece due to its ability to displace tissue through a laser-massage technique. DTLT decreases inflammation and ultimately is a pain reduction of the condition.
