Five Ways Exercise Can Help Your Chiropractic Treatment
When you visit your chiropractor, do you ever think of the full array of skills and knowledge your chiropractor can offer? Chiropractors are extensively trained in the assessment, diagnosis, prevention, and management of MSK conditions. To help relieve pain and dysfunction, joint manipulation is only one of many tools chiropractors are trained to perform effectively and safely. Orthotic Companies
Being in practice for almost 20 years now, I have come across many orthotic companies promoting their products and technology as “the one”. I have had many custom fit orthotics done for myself, and the one orthotic company that has stood out the most for me was Vasyli/Orthoheel. From a comfort, quality, and price point of view, they are unbeatable. Designed by an Australian Podiatrist, they have been gaining lots of popularity worldwide. Unlike your typical orthotic, Vasyli orthotics are custom heat molded to your feet right in the office. Heat 1 Tbsp olive oil in a large saute pan over medium h ...

Are High Heels Worth the Cost to your MSK System?
You may love the look of high heels. However, those sleek heels could cause you physical problems which may not be worth the extra style. In fact, it has been reported that 88% of women are wearing the wrong size shoes – often compromising comfort for style or availability. Unfortunately, compromising health for fashion can take a toll on our bodies. Higher heels may mean bigger problems. It is estimated that 3-, 2-, and 1-inch heels would place 76%, 57% and 22% more pressure on your forefoot respectively1. Wearing high heels regularly can have a long-term impact on the structure and function of your feet, but can also affect other parts of your body. So before you slip on those pumps, you may want to consider a few things: Wearing high heels for longer than three hours a day can actually ...
